Since the start of the 2024/2025 fishing season on November 1st, Chapelco Airport has welcomed three international flights from the United States. This highlights its operational capacity to handle international flights on demand, establishing itself as a key gateway for international tourists eager to experience Patagonia’s exceptional fishing spots.
These flights have brought a total of 16 passengers, adding to the increasing influx of anglers from various parts of the world. This movement presents an opportunity to break records for international operations at our station if the trend continues through the end of the season in May 2025.
Chapelco Airport is an international gateway on demand, capable of operating 24 hours a day thanks to the implementation of satellite-based approach charts, making it a strategic point for flights from all over the world.
Furthermore, the increase in international flights complements the additional commercial services scheduled for December, further enhancing the region’s connectivity.
If you’re a passionate angler, don’t miss the chance to visit Argentina’s Patagonia, arriving quickly and conveniently at Chapelco Airport!
